  • Shyness is nice, and shyness can stop you from doing all the things in life you'd like to. So if there's something you'd like to try: ask me. I won't say no, how could I?

Joeylikesthings

I like things. They're nice.

Q:what is the nicest thing anyone's ever said to you? the weirdest? the sexiest?

Anonymous

You see, the thing with “est“‘s is that their fairly relative. I don’t know if I really have a definite answer to any of these because plenty of things are or have been the nicest weirdest or sexiest thing someone’s said to me at different times. Furthermore, it gets more complicated when we bring human memory into account.

That being said, here is my attempt

Someone at the anti-war rally I played at thought one of my original songs was a Joe Strummer song. That was pretty damn nice to hear. Also, I’ve been told I have great leadership authority. And I’ve been told I’d be a wonderful teacher and father.

But lets be real here. I think the nicest thing I ever hear from anyone is “I love you”. Also “I believe in you” Those are really the nicest things any can say/ has said.

The Weirdest thing?

The Weirdest thing I can think of is once I was told I had nice earlobes.

The sexiest thing?

The sexiest things to hear  (for me) are never really words. The soft hums, the cute giggles, the uncontrollable utterances of random sound and the moans of any volume are always the sexiest.

That being said, while my memory isn’t the best on the exact words said, I was pleased to hear how very good the sex is. It turns me on when my partner is pleased :)

Thanks for the questions. I always enjoy them!

Not that you couldn’t tell already from earlier posts

But for some reason all I want right now is Kingdom Hearts.

I reallywant the 1.5 HD remix to come out already so I can play these games for the millionth time (not that much of an exaggeration).

That game, I don’t quite know what it is, but it’s My game.

I just really need some Kingdom Hearts in my life again.

BLAH I’M SICK

I’ve been sick for the past couple of days now. Luckily, my fever has broken (we’ll see how long that lasts) but I still have a terrible cough, aches everywhere, and on top of it all, a swollen, possibly infected, excruciatingly painful gum which makes it hard to eat. I need some soup and ice cream and wicked painkillers.

In happier news, I’m getting more reading done subsequently. Yay.

Sure, the plastic look-alikes of Sora’s Kingdom Key look quite similar to the in-game weapon which is iconic to the KINGDOM HEARTS franchise. But never before has an authentic keyblade been forged with steel, until Tony Swatton “the master swordsmith and renowned propmaster” from the Man At Arms show decided to make one by himself, after tons of requests from fans. Take a look at the video of the forging below.

Forged using “high-speed belt grinders, scorching furnaces, and pounding power hammers”, the Kingdom Key has never before looked so authentic. Although it lacks the power to vanquish heartless and lock the world’s keyhole, it’s still a very decent weapon, as demonstrated by Swatton himself taking the blade out to “bust up some stuff”.

Q:What is your favourite kingdom hearts world? Also you have a wonderful voice.

Thank you very much, that is always wonderful to hear! :)

My favorite Kingdom Hearts World? This is a really good question.

Do we mean Disney? or Just in General? With Disney, I pretty much like all of them in the first one, and then it kind of varies with the games after. I didn’t like Tron in 3D, I hated Port Royal, I liked Halloween Town, but think they took it in a weird direction in KHII -which goes the same for Atlantica. I really loved how they developed Neverland in all the other games. Everything else I just loved.

Though I think I’d probably say my favorite is

image

Really though, I’ve been with Kingdom Hearts since its first release. I am ten years older than I was when I started playing and I’m STILL playing it.

The first game, in my opinion, is the best. The others are great -don’t get me wrong- but this one is the classic. The Ocarina of Time in a sense, where as all the others were just windwaker or twilight princess (also good games, just not as classic)

And when I think of that first game, whats the one world I think of most? Traverse Town.

                          image

It’s the first world Sora is whisked off to on his adventure, and it’s where he returns several times for so many reasons (dalmatians, gummi ship maintenance, plot development, Winnie The Pooh/Merlin’s House, Trinity locations)

It also has a wonderful feeling to it that most kingdom hearts games don’t have -a feeling that is brought about by it’s being perpetually stuck in nighttime. Twilight Town was good with that, but I enjoyed the darkness of Traverse Town. It seemed to have more mystery to it.

And that song. Let’s all take a moment to talk about how great and yet how annoying that song was. Like most of the worlds (specifically in the first KH) the theme to the world was very repetitive and could get somewhat annoying while you were running around doing things. But that being said, Traverse Town’s theme is a really catchy tune that really compliments the overall feel of the town. In a way. it’s sort of the typical looped music of an inn in most RPG’s -some inn in some cobblestone town. I love those towns and those inns in all the RPG’s I play. They’re one of my favorite parts.

One thing that’s made me pretty sad is it’s lack of incorporation into the other games. There was nothing in KHII, nothing in BBS, or 358/2, There was memory traverse town in CoM and data Traverse Town in Coded, but that hardly counted. I really enjoyed 3D’s incorporation and addition to Traverse Town’s dimensions. It was very refreshing.

That being said, there are other wolds I enjoy as well. Hollow Bastion was always a great world, as was Twilight Town. Of Course, Destiny Islands is a really great one. I’ve always wanted to explore the further dimensions of the other islands and I look forward to any   opportunity to do so in the future of the franchise (I’m looking at you, oh-so-elusive- Kingdom Hearts III)
